I had a small, tucked away area in my house I wanted converted into a kitchenette. Rick and Drew helped me come up with a design that fit without wasting an inch of space, which was tricky due to some constraints including a wall that couldn't easily be moved and a staircase over a central vacuum canister that ended up neatly hidden inside a cabinet. The result is a sleek, modern space with white shaker cabinets, black hardware, subway tile, and even an added window under the stairs for natural light. The team was professional, communicative, and highly adaptive throughout the project, and the finish quality is excellent. I'd happily hire Halrich again and recommend them to anyone working with an awkward space.

Working with Rick and Drew of Halrich Homes on our extensive condo renovation was an exceptional experience from start to finish. They were caring and personable from our first meeting, then throughout the project their workmanship, communication and professionalism really stood out. As the renovation progressed, they uncovered several unforeseen issues behind the walls — including ones which were unsafe and not to code. They explained everything clearly, corrected the problems properly, and ensured our home was not only renovated to a high standard, but safer, too. We also had nothing but compliments from neighbours about how quiet, tidy, and respectful the team was throughout the entire process — a huge benefit in a condo building. The final result is a beautifully finished and safe home. We recommend Halrich Homes without hesitation.

We couldn’t have asked for a better home renovation experience than we had with Halrich Homes. Rick, Drew and their team were attentive, respectful, tidy, hard working, on time and just generally enjoyable to have around! Rick and Drew’s integrity, professionalism, knowledge and expertise was always evident and they listened to our needs and gave great advice and guidance throughout the whole process.
Halrich helped us stay on budget and finished the project on time with great attention to detail and quality. We appreciated that Halrich worked closely and well with their sub trades keeping communication open and everyone on track! We are grateful everyday for our renovation experience and outcome with Halrich, can’t recommend them enough!

We engaged Halrich Homes to undertake a complete renovation of our 1450 sq.ft. condo in a high-rise at the east end of Vancouver’s False Creek. The renovation took the suite down to the metal studs and concrete floor and ceiling structure. It also included replacing all finishes and fixtures, plus the piping and most of the wiring within the unit.
We worked closely with a young interior designer for the overall renovation design, through preparation of permit drawings, while subsequent more detailed and technical design decisions were discussed and finalized with Halrich.
Throughout the 8+ month construction phase of work on our project, we had very good communication with Rick, Drew and their sub trades. And we very much appreciated their willingness to respond to our special requests, by coming up with creative buildable options.
In addition to being very competent, knowledgeable and proficient, the Halrich owners, staff and sub-trades were all very pleasant. They were also conscientious in adhering to the strata’s renovation-related rules re: noise, security and the cleanliness of common areas.
Bottom line, Halrich’s workmanship was of the highest quality, and the end result of their work fully met our expectations. Now happily settled in our new urban home, we would not hesitate to recommend Halrich for another similar renovation project.

Working with Rick, Drew, and their team was surprisingly easy for our first renovation project. Excellent communicators (prompt replies, clear cost estimates, helpful explanations, and always offered to discuss further), great attention to detail (covered curtains and surfaces from dust), and overall lovely and joyful to have in our family home. Would recommend them in an instant, and look forward to working with them again.

Working with Rick and Drew of Halrich Homes Inc., their carpenters and all their trades people was, and continues to be, an amazingly personable, professional, creative process. My three phase renovation was a down-sizing preparation for aging-in-place that the principals of Halrich Homes supported me through step by step with beautiful results in every corner! I unhesitatingly recommend them for any job no matter its complexity or size. They work as they live - trusting, trust worthy, caring, professionals.
